Do you want to tell me what’s been going on in the past month?
So it was Thursday and I was just getting started on the Devil in Ms. Jones part 2 for Vivid and I was taking a shower and putting lotion on when I felt something like a rash on my upper right cheek of my butt. At first I wasn’t too alarmed, I thought it was just a rash, could be an allergic reaction to something. I went to work the next day and it started itching and was very uncomfortable. So I went to the doctor and he was like, ‘well that looks like a herpes breakout.’ It didn’t seem like it to me, to me it looked like something totally different. But I believed him because he’s a doctor and he put me on this medication and did a culture to find out what it was. A couple days later it came back and it was negative for herpes. So I went to a dermatologist this time to figure out whether she knew. By the time I got to her it had already begun healing, and she was like, ‘well it looks like it could have been herpes or shingles.’ She said that if she would have had to pick one it would have been shingles. Through out the experience, I had just had enough, you know. It made me remember all of the other times where I had had something happen where I was like, ‘this is not fun.’ It’s the part of my job that makes me not want to do this. And then my husband and I just sort of came to a decision. That this was where I needed to draw the line, I was well aware that this could happen, but I decided that I don’t want this to happen.
Because the break out was already healing, it couldn’t really be cultured.
This sounds gross but, if it were blistery and there was something coming out then they could have cultured it. But I spoke to two different people and even so, shingles isn’t herpes, it’s a form of herpes. It’s a virus that lives in your body for the rest of your life. So it’s basically just like herpes just the amount of the breakout and the way it breaks out is different. And like I’m saying shingles but really I can’t find out until I have it happen again.
So what does that mean for you?
Well, I just hope that it’s something that doesn’t happen all the time. With the herpes that I have, I only get like a breakout once or twice a whole year. It doesn’t come every month, so I’m not irritated by it. Amazingly my husband got tested after this whole thing and it came back negative. I’m mean we’ve been having sex for four years and he hasn’t gotten it. Which makes me feel a lot better. But at the same time, I don’t want to get HPV and I don’t want to risk getting other STDs that go along with this job. And in a way we’re a little bit safer than having sex outside the business. I mean we don’t know what’s going on in their private lives. I just came to this point in my life where it’s not worth it for me anymore. 
Does it make you unhappy talking about it?
Not unhappy, but its kind of sad you know. I’ve put so much into this industry, my life has revolved around it. It’s kind of heartbreaking. You know a part of me, its funny, because I’ll be shooting a scene and I’ll really have to hold myself back. It’s hard. But then I’ll think about the other things that are more important. And then I’ll remember that there’s so much more that I’m doing for the business aside from having sex. Those things certainly help out the happiness level.
General response?
I’ve only had a couple of negative responses. Most responses have been very supportive and positive. And I’m really very grateful for that and happy at the same time.
Change your mind?
I won’t because I’ve gone back and forth, back and forth, I’ve really thought a bout it a lot and have come to the right decision. I’ve spent 8 years performing and I think that that is a good amount of time. It’s time for me to walk away and really start taking over with the camera work.

Ultimately, Sex City delivers four discs of content, not to mention a pin code for more free content online. A bonus DVD offers plenty of extra material. You’ll beat yourself raw for many nights to come.
